Arc review of Shadows on the Moon

Today I want to just give a little review for a book I received via NETGALLEY… Hey, thanks NetGalley 🙂  I think you guys should check it out 🙂

Shadows on the Moon

Without further ado, here’s my review:

I would first like to thank Netgalley and the publishers who allow us to read books from them via thier galleys 🙂 I have found some great books on there. This book is mix (FOR ME) between a fairy tale and Milan (yes the cartoon)… Let me explain. It’s not set in present time, as they ride horses, however it could be in present time as it’s got a feel for dystopian-not quite sure, BUT it doesn’t matter. The lead character-Suzume, but I can’t keep that name, as she assumes different names thoughout different stages in her life. She starts out as Suzume, the carefree child and has a pretty great life. Then the soldiers come and life tragically and dramtically changes. Then, (& I must say, I hated her mother) Suzume’s mother remarries in order to save them from dispair. More tragic things happen and she becomes someone else. (Just like Milan, she is willing to give up herself to help her family, even if she has to hide herself to do it)

The fantasy side of this story is intriguing, as shadow-weaving is like a magical ability to change appearances and like the fae who can glamour themselves. Things are a little more complicated, but you should read to find out. Now, on the romance side, Suzume wants nothing more to avenge her family-that means throwing away a true love journey. I think I could understand this in the way that when you love your family, you want the best for them. However, she is a small-ish, teenage girl, with no higher class influence, until she meets a wonderful friend, and she goes a little crazy with her justifications in wanting her vengeance.

I have never read a book written like this, nor with this type of culture, so I must say-that really appealed to me. Also, the characters and their backgrounds are just fascinating. The writing is supurb, other than a few cultural words that I were quite sure what they meant, but the author tries to make it for you to understand the meaning in her own way. I don’t want to give too much away, but, this book is a fresh read. It’s something you should read if you are more into the bigger plot line with a little supernatural on the side, and a lovely ending 🙂 I think I will have to pick up more books by this author! 🙂

Chapters 24-31

Final discussion questions

1. Heven develops a new “supernatural power”. She remarks that it isn’t that exciting of a power. Is this a power you would like to have, if not what kind of supernatural power would you like to have?

hmmm, I think if I could have a superpower, I would like to teleport… I could get from point a to point b immediately, I could get out of trouble quickly, and I could do so much with that power 🙂 I think Heven thinks her power is boring, but I have a feeling that it’s going to come in handy soon… I don’t know what, or why, but it’ll be in preparation for something big 🙂

2. Which character do you think makes the biggest internal change throughout the course of this book? Is there a situation in your life that you can reflect back on as an experience that changed your life for the better?

I think Heven has definitely had some big changes and she has coped with them as best as she can, but I also think that Sam no longer thinks he is the biggest curse of the world. I think Heven has helped him find love and maybe even acceptance of himself in a way 🙂 There’s always life situations that change you. I can think of a few people who have definitely helped make my life better, and of course my furry babies who pull me out of darkness every day 🙂

3. Who is your favorite character and why?

hmmmm, well I like all the characters for different reasons…. But, I think I kinda think Sam is just HAWT, so I may have to go with him… BUT I like who Heven is becoming something special…. and G-Ma is just awesome… see that’s why I don’t do favorites, I even love to hate the bad guys, as you gotta have something bad to bring out the good 🙂

4. When the book ends the reader has an idea of what the next book will involve. Do you think the book ended in the appropriate place?

well yes, what a good ending without a little mystery as to what’s to come. It would be boring if you have no “ahhhh” at the end, as you wouldn’t NEED to read book 2… ok I have a thing for cliff hangers and sometimes, when done right, it makes it all the more of wanting for me hahahaha

5. Do you have any predictions for the next book in the series, Charade?

I never make “predictions” as it’s all up to the author… BUT, I will say, I think Logan is gunna cause some trouble-yes, I read BETWEEN so I am cheating, and I think Heven will have some struggles with her “power”, her new life, and her mother’s… as for the bad guys, I am not gunna say anything cuz it’s probably totally off 🙂 but I do predict that I will LOVE IT 🙂 how could I not HAHAHAHA

6. Did you enjoy participating in this read along? Will you join in future read alongs?

This is my first full read along! I had a blast, especially since everyone gave such wonderful feed back with comments and their own thoughts! I will now participate in as many as I can! 🙂

Thanks to everyone who made this so fun and special! I really hope this has peaked the interest of a few readers who haven’t read this author’s work, and also cemented what I already love about her! As for BETWEEN, it’s now out, so go check out this next short story installation of this series here…

Hunted Blog tour Part 3 :)

I know that the blog tour for Hunted is over, but I got those questions in for a character interview, so I figured, what they hey, let’s put em up!! 🙂 Here we go!!

and you can see my review HERE and goodies from the author HERE

ME:  In the beginning of your story, you’re on the run.  I know the “running” sucks, but do you think, at that time, it’s the right thing to do for you safety, even for your mom’s?

Caitlyn:  Yes. If we don’t run, the Troopers can track me down, enslave me, make me hunt down other Paras. I would never want to hunt down another Para, betray them that way. And I’ve seen the way they treat Paras they capture. I’ve felt it. It’s inhumane–it’s torture. As much as I hate running, never having a home, running is what keeps us safe–me and my mom, both.

Me:  Also in the beginning you let us in a little with what you call “emptiness” with your mom, as you say she has completely shut herself off and made her powers disappear. Do you ever wish you could do that just to be normal, even for a little while?

Caitlyn:  Yes, sometimes I do. It can be really overwhelming, getting everyone’s thoughts and emotions all the time. And I wonder what it would be like to not be afraid all the time, to not be constantly looking over my shoulder or being on the run. But at the same time, I can’t imagine how awful it would feel to not be connected to the people you love, to not know on a deep level whether they’re safe if they’re not with you, or whether they’re lying.

Me:  You see Alex on your first day of school and you describe a calming effect, especially with your powers. How does that make you feel?

Caitlyn:  It feels so good! I’ve never experienced such calm before, such peace, except maybe with my dad. It’s incredible to actually have a break from all the mind-voices that are always battering at my mind. But it’s also so weird–Alex isn’t a Para. I don’t understand why Alex helps me feel so calm, but he does, and I love it.

Me:  Do you think that feeling made you more attracted to Alex?

Caitlyn:  Hm. You know, I think you’re right. That wonderful calm feeling I get around Alex, the utter relief at getting a break from the cacophony of voices for a while is pretty amazing to experience. But I also love Alex’s easy laughter, his love of people and life, and how sweet he is, right to his core. That’s pretty attractive. And so is his body! I love that he’s a swimmer, like me.

Me:  I know Rachel as your first, and probably best friend, but do you ever wish you could return her feelings for you?

Caitlyn:  I felt guilty that I didn’t, and when I sensed her hurt and her strong emotion, I almost wished I could. But we are each attracted to who we are attracted to, and for me that is Alex. I think Rachel gets that, though I know it was hard for her at first. I love her as a friend, which for some people isn’t enough, but Rachel’s been amazing. She is there for me, and I try to be there for her.

Me:  If you couldn’t have read Rachel’s mind, and didn’t realize she was a lesbian, do you think it would have affected you differently? Or your friendship? At least before she told you…

Caitlyn:  It might have, but I don’t think so. It does help to have a kind of forewarning, somehow, an extra few seconds or minutes or days to think something through. But I don’t think I’m homophobic. I know what it’s like to be hated for who I am (as a Para). So I don’t think it would have made a difference to me.

Me:  How do you feel about your mom now, after all of the things that have happened and she opened up to you about how she felt and why she made the choices she did?

Caitlyn:  I am so glad we talked. It really helped me let go of my hurt and anger. I thought she was trying to shut me out and play it safe! I felt so much more alone, before, but now I feel good again.

Me: If you could talk to your dad, or see him, what would you wish the most for from him?

Caitlyn:  Oh. I’d love a hug from him again, to hear his laughter, see his smiling eyes. But I also really want to hear from him how to protect myself more as a Para. He always had great ideas, and worked with me to figure out new techniques. I miss that, and I think it would really help me.

Me:  Do you think it’s fair that para’s are persecuted for being a little different, even with the powers to rule the world? Possibly destroy it?

Caitlyn:  No. It’s never fair or okay to persecute anyone; it’s just wrong. It’s a basic human right to be treated equally, and with compassion and dignity–or it should be. And Normals have the power to rule the world–they already are ruling it–and they have the power to destroy it. Just look at all the wars, the armies and Troopers, the nuclear weapons. It scares me sometimes, people who can’t connect with other people mind-to-mind and feel each others’ emotions being in the power to effect the entire world, to destroy it. But I have to hope that they’ll change, learn, grow, open up more. I know some pretty great Normals.

Me:  How do you feel about being a hero? You know you are right? 😀

Caitlyn:  I don’t think I’m a hero, not really. I just don’t want to see other people hurting. I want to help people be okay. And I want equality for Paras. But…thank you for saying that, for your kind words. It’s pretty lonely and hard sometimes. But I think, I hope, that things are going to change. More Normals are listening to us, not judging us as much! I hope they keep doing that.

Me:  Thank you so much for meeting with me, and letting me ask all these crazy questions! I hope you have a wonderful time and I can’t wait for your next story!

Caitlyn:  Thank you for asking me your thoughtful questions; I had a lot of fun!

Well guys, sorry it’s so late, but there we go, straight from Caitlyn herself! I really suggest you read this book, as it’s not just a great supernatural story, but a great life lesson in survival! 🙂

also, today is the last day to enter my huge giveaway HERE.,…

ARC Review~Cuz Jenn Bennett is Stellar

Summoning the Night (Arcadia Bell, #2)

Hello everyone! Today I am so excited to say that TOMORROW IS THE RELEASE DATE FOR SUMMONING THE NIGHT!! this is the second book of the Arcadia Bell series! Ms. Jenn Bennett was so awesome and allowed me to read this as an ARC for review… THANKS SO MUCH!!! I will also say, holy crap-i-zoly, it was fantastic… Not like I expected any less, but there is something about this series that just makes me all mushy inside 🙂 Before I start my review there are a few things I would like to show you…

After narrowly escaping her fate as a sacrificial scapegoat, Arcadia Bell is back to normal. Or at least as ordinary as life can be for a renegade magician and owner of a tiki bar that caters to Earthbound demons. She’s gearing up for the busiest day of the year—Halloween—when a vengeful kidnapper paralyzes the community.

The influential head of the local Hellfire Club taps Cady to track down the fiendish bogeyman, and now that she’s dating red-hot Lon Butler, the Club’s wayward son, she can hardly say no. Cady and Lon untangle a gruesome thirty-year trail of clues that points to danger for the club members’ children. But locating the person behind the terror will require some metaphysical help from Cady’s loyal bar patrons as well as her potent new Moonchild powers—and she’d better figure it out before the final victim disappears and her own darkest secret becomes her biggest enemy.

Also, this is DIRECTLY FROM JENN BENNETT’S WEBSITE ( GO THERE AND CHECK OUT MORE) but I loved that she put this up… I love to see a face with a character and she so sweetly put this for us to see…

Seriously, these are just fantastic, but make sure that you go check out everything else that Ms. Bennett has on her site here…

Here’s the video for the book release…

I’m sorry but that is just the coolest video EVER!! Seriously, I love love it!!! 🙂 I cannot help myself, I’ve watched it at least 20 times and I DO KNOW what’s going to happen 🙂 And so now, I guess it’s time for me to stop blabbering and start giving the goods LOL! Here we go…

There isn’t anyone who writes like Jenn Bennett-fierce, crazy, awesome, awe-inspiring, grade-A urban fantasy! I mean, her first book, Kindling the Moon, I fell in love with, but Summoning the Night was like the whole date package! There is everything in here-witches, demons, crazy children, mystery, magic, awesome tiki drinks, totally butt kicking action, hot sexy romance, and a side of fantastic! Ok, Ok, I’ll explain. The first book threw me for a total loop with the ending, I was NOT expecting that. Arcadia is literally still floating on crazy from those events. And all of a sudden she is thrust in the middle of a crazy psychopath’s way of kidnapping children, and that means Jupe could be in real danger. For someone who is so independent and closed, this is very hard for Arcadia. She has formed a bond with Jupe, as crazy as he is 🙂

There are some new characters you see in here, as well as some reoccurring characters from Kindling the Moon, and some characters gave me real whiplash with their true personalities coming out. It’s a mystery you’ll have to read to find out about. Normally, my favorite character is ALWAYS the main, which would be Arcadia, and I LOVE HER, seriously, like I would move in, but I have a big soft spot for Jupe as he is not only a pain in the rear, but hilarious, and he is who he is and he’s very cool with that! Teenagers normally make me crazy! LOL

The writing is just flawless and flows and it was a fast paced read for me… By this I mean, I read it all fast and couldn’t tell anybody, since I had to wait for closer to the release date to get all blabbery! This book has everything that makes me happy, so there’s no way I could give it a bad rating. And sometimes, when the first book captures so much of your heart, the second is a let-down. WELL, NOT HERE! Book two has me completely enamored of the talent Jenn Bennett possesses! I hear she’s possibly working on a few more things and I wanna throw popcorn at people I’m so excited! Monkeys throw poo, I throw popcorn-less smelly, it’s edible and doesn’t stain your close! LOL 🙂

To close off my review, I will say 2 things– 1. what the hell are you waiting for? GO GET THAT BOOK NOW! and 2. gimme gimme gimme gimme MORE! 🙂

here’s all the links you should check out for the books and the author:

Another giveaway is directly from Jenn Bennett herself via Goodreads. Go here… this giveaway has more time to enter, but there will be 5 copies 🙂 YAY!!

Now on my last note, I will leave you with my favorite quotes, or two, from Kindling the Moon (I don’t wanna spoil anything for Summoning the Night)… here ya go…

“Arcadia,” Lon’s voice said from my phone. “Who is this?” I teased.
“You can’t take my son on a date.” “I didn’t ask him. He asked me.” “He stole my cell and called without permission.” “Sounds like a personal problem to me.” A low growling noise came out of the phone.”
Jenn Bennett, Kindling the Moon

“I stumbled through the dark underbrush again crying out as I plunged through a thick spiderweb. My arms frantically brushed away the clinging web as irrational fear made me batshit-crazy for a moment. Scared of a damn spider when a bloodthirsty demon was chasing me down. Ridiculous.”
Jenn Bennett, Kindling the Moon

I just love those two quotes 🙂 I can’t help but giggle out loud at both… Well, I hope you enjoyed my crazy person rant, and don’t forget to enter to win copies! Happy reading, thanks for stopping by, and later my reading gators!

Interview with MCV Egan

Hello everyone,

Today I would like to shed some light into an author that you guys should check out! She’s got that cool book (picture above) out and I thought you guys would like to know a few things about her… Here we go…

First, tell me a little about your book ….

The Bridge of Deaths is a cross genre Historical, Mystery, Paranormal Romance. It is based on well researched and well documented story centered on a passenger airplane crash in Denmark. The intrigue and history of the era right before WWII broke out.

The story is told from the perspective of a young couple digging into the events to resolve issues carried over from a past life.

It was researched through many traditional sources; archives, newspapers and interviews and many untraditional sources past life regressions, various psychics and a Peruvian Shaman.

Do you recall how your interest in writing originated or did you always just know?

I always enjoyed writing and it became a need to communicate when my family moved from Mexico City to Washington, D.C. I wrote long letters to all the friends and relatives I missed. Somehow I feel I always knew.

What inspired you to write your first book and what was it?

Amongst the five deaths that were reported from the plane crash one was an employee of Standard Oil of New Jersey, a Bio-Chemical Engineer and he was my grandfather. He died 20 years before I was born.

The story of his life and death was something that intrigued me.

Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

I incorporated many things that were me. The nightmares I gave Bill were based on very different nightmares (mine did not involve water) that I had, right before I began to explore past lives in the late 1980s.

I believe as a world as a society we should strive for pacifism and I gave that characteristic to Maggie. I dabble in Astrology and I gave that characteristic to Maggie’s Mom.

How do you choose when/which characters die in your books?

Funny you should ask…because of course in The Bridge of Deaths I had no choice, I had five very real corpses. I am however writing a very different book right now, and I am trying to decide who lives and who dies, and I have decided, but some with regret…even if it does create a better read.

Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?

As a self-published author I am becoming friends with so many new authors and I have such deep respect and admiration for them and their work, that I cannot give you a list…it would be too long and I would be bound to forget someone!

Who do you look up to as a writer?

I like many writers, I like John Irving, Nick Hornby, Susan Howatch and I absolutely love Sommerset Maugham. That is to name a few, because there are MANY authors I really admire and whose work I enjoy alive and dead OH! Kurt Vonnegut and…too many to choose.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your book?

I might have included more images particularly from the archives. I am very happy with my end result.

Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?

Re-writes, editing…feeling the need to revise what the day before may have seemed brilliant!

What book are you reading now? Or what genre?

I took my teenage son to see The Hunger Games and became curious about how the story unraveled, so I asked around got the gist of book two and read Mokingjay by Susanne Collins. I really enjoyed it , I had not read Sci-Fi in several years. I enjoy a wide variety of genres.

Who designed the cover? And do you help with them?

I guided the team at Authorhouse and provided the images. We had a few fails before I approved the work.

Did you learn anything from writing your books and what was it?

I learned an enormous amount of history. I learned a lot about the Lockheed Electra 10A aircraft. I learned how to read autopsies. I am sure I learned many other things.

If you could be one of your characters, who would you chose?

Maggie and I would choose her because she is the happiest and most free=spirited. I love her philosophies and the passion in everything she does.

Are there any books you think some of us should read, just because?

Other than The Bridge of Deaths by M.C.V. Egan? 😀 There are so many great books out there, but my job right now is to plug mine!

Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?

Thank you for taking the time to read my work and especially thank-you to those of you who have had such positive feedback. I have been very humbled and honored by many of your reactions.

I would like to tell Ms. Egan thank you so much for stopping by and helping to spread the word about her book! If you would like to stalk her, I suggest going to her website… … as there’s a great load of info and she has this REALLY COOL moving banner at the top that I am fascinated by LOL 🙂 & it’s just pretty, so go now, cuz I said to LOL!

Happy reading everyone, thanks for stopping by, and later my reading gators 🙂

WEEK THREE Questions:

April 19th – Heidi at Rainy Day Ramblings

Chapters 16-24

1. Heven’s mother has definite ideas about Heven and her scars – what they mean – and their relationship is strained. Do you think their relationship can be saved?

I’m one of those lucky people that have a saintly fantastic mother, so I could never fathom my mom doing this to me… However, if Heven’s mother were my mother, I would RUN, far far away, as how can anyone help themselves when the one person they should turn to for support pretty much hates everything you have become! I know, because I am not in that situation, and like I said, I gots me a wonderful mom, I understand why Heven doesn’t run, and keeps trying, but hell, I’d rather a mom who doesn’t notice me, than a mother who does what this mom did! :/

2. Sam tells Heven about how he came to be living on his own, how his parents kicked him out after he became what he is. He doesn’t seem angry though, he seems to accept it. Would you be angry? Do you think he should be?

hmmm, let me be slightly personal… I know how a parent could be a bad parent, and anger is ok, but only if it is productive. You should never let your life revolve around that anger, or let that anger allow you to make bad decisions, so good for Sam! I think it’s great that he is moving on from negative and toward positive! However, I know what it’s like to be angry for the choices your parent(s) make. Sam is better off without them, than he is with them, even if it means being lonely… but lonely is better than mistreated, degraded, unloved, and unwanted…

3. During these chapters, Heven and Sam visit the Inbetween and meet Airis (aka The Hope). Were you surprised by this series of events? Do you think a place like the InBetween really exists?

Well sure, maybe not InBetween itself, but there’s something somewhere for everyone 🙂 as for me, I think it’s cool that the InBetween is part of the story, as it gives you a little more of a glimpse in some things…. or it leaves you asking more questions, and that, my friends, is what makes a great mystery 🙂

4. When Heven’s scars are no longer a part of her and she says “she no longer recognizes herself” – do you think that the absence of her scar will change her once more?

I think that sure, it will change her, but, I think she’ll always keep a part of herself as she was with the scars… my explanation is this- if you lose someone you love to death, you mourn for a while and it changes you, and after a while, one day you wake up and it’s less painful, and as time goes on, you have memories and things you learned from that time period, but you move on and hold on to those memories… just like those scars, she will move on, but they are still a part of her on the inside because you just can’t forget an experience like that.

5. Gran is very accepting of Heven and of Sam. Do you think that she understands more – knows more than she lets on about Heven’s life or do you think her love is just unconditional?

How about both! First, dude, Gran’s are just cool-most of them. They love you just because and with Heven, all she wants is her granddaughter to be happy. As for knowing, Gran’s are always smart hahahaha they know things you don’t, either it be because they’ve lived long enough to experience, or they are just wise and full of intuition… I don’t know, nor do I care, because Gran’s are just cool LOL and Heven’s gran loves her!

Don’t Miss the Live Discussion with Cambria

I can’t tell you details just yet, but I promise to scream it from the rooftops when I can 🙂 hehehehe!!! I know, I’m such a nerd!

I always comment back, it’s my manners that tell me I needa thank my people! LOL! So with that, happy reading, thanks for stopping by, and later my reading gators!! 🙂

Tricked (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #4)

For all of you who are like me, and seriously obsessed with this series… we are getting dangerously close to it’s release date & I cannot WAIT to get my hands on this next book!  So, I did this crazy thing, like e-mailing Mr. Hearne, not expecting a reply, and definitely not so quick, and he totally did a lil interview for me!!! I mean, what goes on here!!! 🙂 I was literally jumping up and down when I opened his first reply, which was so kind, saying “sure, send over those questions”! Seriously, I am a major crazy person with these books! I talked this cute lil older man into buying the first three of the series the other day at my bookstore, and he called the book store to tell me that this was the best series ever recommended to him 🙂 I was so proud! But that’s besides the point… the point is to let you all in all this awesome man, who is just the coolest!!! so, let’s get on with the show!

Me:  Do you recall how your interest in writing originated or did you always just know?

KH:  I recall with perfect clarity. It was after reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey in college. The voice was amazing, and I wanted to get lost in characters the way I did in that book.

Me:  Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

KH:  The setting for the series is inspired by real life; most of the locations are real, in fact, and you can get some of the world’s best fish and chips at Rula Bula on Mill Avenue. As far as characters, however, only the widow MacDonagh is based on someone I know—my dearly departed grandma.

Me:  Do you really have an aversion to Thor like everyone else seems to or is it just the characters who hate him?

KH:  I should probably take the Fifth on that one.

Me:  How did you incorporate Oberon to become such a major character in this series? (I think he’s pretty major anyway! )

KH:  Entirely by accident. He was meant to be nothing more than comedic relief and an anchor to help Atticus hold on to his humanity. He turned out to be far more popular than I anticipated.

Me:  How do you chose when/which characters die in your books? I think I cried a little (ok a lot) in book 3 for one of those scenes!

KH:  It depends on what choices those characters would make and what would feel “real.” Just like Mordor, you cannot simply walk into Asgard, take on a bunch of gods, and expect to walk away without harm. Somebody has to pay.

Me:  Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?

KH:  You’ll want to check out Jay Kristoff’s STORMDANCER when it comes out in September. Good stuff—Japanese steampunk. I wrote a blurb for it, thought it was brilliant.

Me:  If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book? Or any of the others so far? (PLEASE SAY NO LOL)

KH:  There’s a mistake in HOUNDED I’d like to correct, but otherwise, no.

Me:  What book are you reading now? Or what genre?

KH:  I’m reading George R.R. Martin’s biggie, A DANCE WITH DRAGONS.

Me:  Who designed the covers? And do you help with them? (it’s one of my favorite parts of the books)

KH:  Del Rey has been completely fabulous in this regard; while I don’t design the covers, I do get to contribute to the process and they value my input. In fact, they do everything they can to make sure I’m happy—and I am! If you’d like to see how the process works—it involves my editor, the designer, the author (me!) and the illustrator—there’s a blog post about it on Suvudu that goes into great detail. Here you go:

Me:  If you could be one of your characters, who would you chose?

KH:  I wouldn’t mind having Atticus’s ability to talk to dogs. That would be rad, to have such a happy, loving creature talking to you.

Me:  I’ve read interviews from you that said you weren’t meaning to make your books funny (trust me, they are!) but more kick ass…. How do you respond to people who think it’s funny, or kick ass, or both! I believe my answer is both 🙂

KH:  Well, I’m always glad to hear that people are entertained, regardless of what entertains them. It’s true that I mostly try to impart a kick-ass feeling but I’m too much of a goofball to keep things serious for long. I plot all the asskicking, but the comedy is an unintentional side effect and improvised as I go.

Me:  Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?

KH:  Specifically, you are awesome. Thank you so much for reading my books and spreading the word to your friends. Without word of mouth, most authors can’t continue to write, so I am very grateful to you and glad that I could give you a smile or three.

Thanks, Maghon, for inviting me to chat! It’s very kind!

Don’t ya just love him! I wanna put him in my pocket… maybe he can just tell me fun stories all day! LOL! Ok, but on a serious note, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Mr. Kevin Hearne has been one of my favorite authors since I read HOUNDED but he is now one of my favorite people! and don’t forget…
