Now, Surah is on the run, having just helped Charlie Redmine escape from the castle dungeons. This makes her a traitor in the eyes of many, as Charlie is not only a common man suspected of murder and treason, but also Black Heart’s younger brother.
The stars are crossed against the two lovers, the universe trying to keep them apart. In the end, will the stars align for Surah and Charlie, or will they fall from the heavens, dead and lifeless, like the tears of angels?
Charlie held her well into the wee hours of the morning, his breathing growing deep and steady, his heart beating right under her ear, her own held wholly in his hands. She trusted him with it, knew that he would never crush it between his fingers, but instead keep it safe and warm and full. For tonight, she let herself believe and hope for all of this. Because she was, after all, a princess, and she wanted so badly to believe her story would end in happily ever after.
Princess or not, this was all that most people wanted. Happily ever after. Problem was, the definition of this was relative to everyone, and what some people considered a happy ending to this particular story was at direct opposition to what Surah would have considered one.
So while the princess and her lover slept, those opposed were hatching plans that would build higher the mountains and fill fuller the seas and tangle up further all the stars that were between Surah and Charlie, making the path to Surah’s happiness even darker, bumpier, and more treacherous than it had ever been before.
Blurb: Once upon a time, a common boy fell in love with a princess. It was a hopeless, forbidden love, grown in a world where sorcery and magic rule over all. Now, dark times are brewing, and destiny will bring them together, while fate works to keep them apart. Extraordinary battles will be fought, and extraordinary choices made. Join the author of The Alexa Montgomery Saga for the beginning of a tale of star-crossed lovers and magic, of hope and love and loss, of desperate wishes made on stars.
Surah Stormsong is one of the most powerful Sorceresses in the world. She is a princess who is next in line for the throne. As someone who has lost almost everything to this world, she only wants to pull away from it and live a normal life, but when Highborn ladies start being murdered and the Black Stone-a weapon that is capable of great destruction-goes missing, she is called upon to solve the issues and return her people to a state of safety.
But danger lurks inside the castle walls as well, and when she runs into Charlie Redmine, a common Sorcerer Surah met once as a child, things grow complicated very quickly. He is the main suspect of the murders, but Surah is powerless against the connection she feels to him. Time is ticking, and if she doesn’t figure out what’s going on things will go from bad to worse, and an entire kingdom will suffer for it.
From the author of the bestselling series, The Alexa Montgomery Saga, comes a tale of star-crossed lovers and magic, of hope and love and loss. The greatest question is, can love overcome all?

PS you should know there is a goodreads giveaway going on for this book, so you can click on the cover to take you to that!
WELCOME!!! Who do you look up to as a writer?
Oh, so many. Mark Twain, Edgar A. Poe, Stephen King…the list goes on and on.
Who designed the cover? And do you help with them?
Regina Wamba at Maeidesign. She’s actually done all of my covers, and I love her work so much. She’s probably done good portion of the covers for other authors you read as well. I do have some input. She sends me ideas and we go back and forth until we’re both really happy with the result. She’s a real pleasure to work with.
Did you learn anything from writing your books and what was it?
I put my characters through a lot of shit, so I really don’t know. I might want to be Alexa, or maybe Surah…but then again, both of these characters exhibit strength I’m not sure I’d be capable of. I sure wouldn’t mind Kayden or Charlie being in my life, though. 🙂
Are there any books you think some of us should read, just because?
Before you die, read Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. And Under the Dome, The Green Mile, The Shining, all by Stephen King. To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee played a big role in my growth as a writer, as well as the collected poems and short stories by E. A. Poe.
Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
Yes, actually. Falling Stars will be released on September 15th, and if you purchase it on release day, you will be able to get it for $.99. After the first day, the price will go up a few bucks, so I hope my readers will be inclined to buy it that first day. Also, Surah’s stories and Alexa’s are connected. If you follow along, eventually Alexa and Nelly just might make a comeback, and Surah and the characters I create in my following series will be alongside them. You should be able to pick up any of my series in any order and be able to follow along, but I think it’s pretty cool to think that when the final series is released, my constant readers will know all the characters fighting to save the day.
Thank you so much for having me today, Mags! Your support has meant the world to me!
