So IT’S FINALLY HERE!!!! I am a little devastated that it’s over, but I am so blown away at how absolutely wonderful this entire double series is. I am not sure there’s enough words to tell you how awesome it is, but I will try, and not to mention how FABULOUS the giveaway is!!! 🙂
Your favorite Dwellers and Country Saga characters come together in this epic seventh book!
As President Borg Lecter threatens to annihilate the Country tribes in order to expand his glass-domed empire, Adele ventures into the belly of the beast. Her only hope of survival is the consolidation of Dwellers and Country power before it’s too late.
Former demagogue President Nailin is eliminated, yet civil unrest infects every alliance. To save Adele, President Tristan faces his greatest challenge yet: unifying unfriendly Dwellers in the Tri-Realms to raise an army against Lecter. Meanwhile, Dazz must convince the Ice Country leaders to march with Siena and the Tri-Tribes on the gates of the Glass City.
The world sits on the edge of a knife. Will Adele, Tristan, Dazz, and Siena defeat Lecter and his army of killers before the Glassies wipe them off the face of the Earth?

The Earth Dwellers will cap off an eighteen month journey that has taken me from unknown Indie author to still-mostly-unknown fulltime Indie author. The change is a subtle one for most people, but for me it’s a dream come true. To the hundreds (and now maybe even thousands!) of readers who have come along for the ride with me, either by reading the Dwellers Saga, the Country Saga, or both, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Now down to business. There may be some of you who have only read the three books in the Country Saga or only the three books in the Dwellers Saga, and are now thinking you’ll read The Earth Dwellers, which is supposedly the 4th book in BOTH the Country Saga and the Dwellers Saga. Well, that’s awesome! However, I must highly recommend that before reading The Earth Dwellers that you read the three books in BOTH series. Trust me, doing so will greatly enhance your experience, as The Earth Dwellers will be taking significant characters from both series and crashing them together (yes, like a water country wave) into an action-packed tale of struggle and loss and hope and friendship… And maybe a little love, too.

David Estes was born in El Paso, Texas but moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when he was very young. He grew up in Pittsburgh and then went to Penn State for college. Eventually he moved to Sydney, Australia where he met his wife and soul mate, Adele, who he’s now been happily married to for more than two years.
A reader all his life, David began writing novels for the children’s and YA markets in 2010, and has completed 13 novels, 11 of which have been published. In June of 2012, David became a fulltime writer and is now travelling the world with his wife while he writes books, and she writes and takes photographs.
David gleans inspiration from all sorts of crazy places, like watching random people do entertaining things, dreams (which he jots copious notes about immediately after waking up), and even from thin air sometimes! Recently he’s been inspired by some of his favorite authors, like Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, and Maggie Stiefvater.
David’s a writer with OCD, a love of dancing and singing (but only when no one is looking or listening), a mad-skilled ping-pong player, an obsessive Goodreads group member, and prefers writing at the swimming pool to writing at a table. He loves responding to e-mails, Facebook messages, Tweets, blog comments, and Goodreads comments from his readers, all of whom he considers to be his friends.

This is a hard one. I am so very excited that this book was so MAGNIFICENT but I am still seriously sad because it’s all coming to an end. It’s like eating your favorite food, you savor every bite until you get to that last one. The last one is always the best, but when it ends, it’s a little sad because it’s over. LOL yes, I am so going on about food 🙂 Anyways let’s get serious. I will terribly miss all of the characters and adventures of every single one of these books. It was done so completely amazing, that I can’t help but smile because it was flawless! Mr David, one day, I hope you give me more, just a little! And it was a brilliant idea that you made this book the last of the series FOR BOTH series! It’s wrapped up excellently!
I have continuously said that when I think dystopian worlds, I think the Dweller series, because to me, that’s so perfect. I have said it in several other reviews. It’s got a dark and gritty feel and yet it’s got wonderful hope and a light at the end of the tunnel. There can never be light without dark and dark without light. It’s very fitting for this plot and the characters for this story. We are back with both new and old characters, some of them I absolutely adore! Siena is the main POV character, and though we have some POV by Adele (who is probably my most favorite character) and some from Tristan and Dazz. I think these multiple POVs made for a extremely intriguing way of telling the story. I will miss these characters so much.
I will not lie, there are some serious crazy moments. I am pretty sure I spent most of my reading time either holding my breath, cheering them on, or crying. It was an extremely emotional ride for me. I was not prepared for that much. I could feel their emotional turmoil. I will continue to hold out hope that one day I get just a little bit more because Mr David has a way of taking a word written on a page, and making you magically feel it, when you read. Seriously, I was reading this one part on my swing- it’s over 100 degrees with extreme humitidy where I live in South Louisiana- and I got the tingles, then goosebumps, and a chill. Now that’s talent!
I will never be able to look at a dystopian world again without thinking of this series. The amount of thought put into the scenes and backgrounds is epic. Every book has more world building and it’s amazing. I will now constantly be on the lookout for something even close to resembling these stories. I still just want more. I know Mr David will be writing more, he’s too good not to, and now with all his wonderful praise, he will give me something new, but a little prayer, one say, just gimme a little something! A short story, a little snippet, anything! I will always read Mr David’s books. He’s amazing. His writing is like living in a dream of wonders. I can’t believe this series it’s over. *sigh* But I want to tell you GET THIS SERIES! YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON SOMETHING AMAZING! Think of every synonym for EPICALLY AMAZING and insert them here. Beautiful! Magnificent! Phenomenal! And many more… my rare 6 PAW review is seeming to pop up more lately, but this one deserves 6 PAWS and so much more!
I wish you guys all good luck on the giveaways and don’t forget to pick up your free copy of Fire Country! And even if you aren’t a fan of this genre, pick up another one of David’s books. You won’t be disappointed! 🙂 THANKS MR DAVID for always giving me the most AWESOME books to read. I can’t wait to see what you’re gunna give us all next! Happy reading and later gators!
