Hi Maghon! How are you? I hope you’re doing well. Wanted to stop by and say THANKS for participating in today’s promo blitz — and for such a terrific intro! 🙂

Figured your blog was a great place to share some non-book related news: I think we’re adopting a new cat! Earlier this month our 19 year old cat passed away. It was as heartbreaking as you can imagine and we figured we wouldn’t be ready to adopt a new one until the fall. We went away for Spring Break and two days later a big orange tabby started showing up at our back door. To make a long story short (sort of), we flyered our neighborhood, emailed everyone who lives around us, had two people contact us who thought he was their cat but turned out he wasn’t so… I think he’ll be ours now. I think he was abandoned, poor guy. Vet appt tomorrow morning to check for a microchip and get shots, etc. If everything works out, I’m going to try to post pictures of him next week.

Who doesn’t love adopting new four footed pals?! 😀

Happy reading and best wishes to everyone here at Happy Tails and Tales!
