Happy Release Day Time Walker w Giveaway

To all of you lovely kids, I want you to know how awesome this author is… and not just that, but she is totally cool because she has THE SAME NAME as me 🙂 maybe it’s spelled a little different, but who cares. I love her. And when she told me she was working on a spin off series that followed up Spirit Binder, I NEEDED to be a part of it. So today, is supposed to be the release day, but please don’t panic, it may take a little while for all the links to be final 🙂 So Let me show you a whole bunch of goodies… and trust me, I’ve got some good ones 🙂

Time Walker

Synopsis: Beth was sneaky. No lock could hold her. No cage could confine her. No door could bar her way. But, when your adoptive mother is a Spirit Binder, and all your siblings are elementals, being sneaky doesn’t really rank. That is until the devastation of a city draws her omniscient mother’s attention, and her siblings go missing one by one, then Beth’s sneakiness is the only thing standing between her, her loved ones, and the worst enemy she’ll ever face: herself.

Favourite Quotes:

“She was aware that she was constantly searching for something she hadn’t even lost. And, yes, every time that thought surfaced in her mind it made just as much sense — as in, none at all — as the flood of disappointment she felt the moment after a door or lock opened under her hand. Still, she felt driven to exercise, to perfect, this small bit of power that was solely her own.” – Chapter One, Time Walker

“You are not as inconsequential as you think, Bethany. You are the glue that will hold your brothers and sisters together through time.” – Rhea, Chapter Two, Time Walker

“She wrapped the sword in the velvet cloth covering the altar. It didn’t like it. How she knew that scared Beth terribly. As if the sword was in her head. As if it soon might try to control her.” – Chapter Ten, Time Walker

“Tangled through time like an echo. That wasn’t ominous at all.” – Chapter 12, Time Walker

*I also recenetly acquired this one and will be reading it very soon!*

Synopsis: Pamela just wants to reunite in the afterlife with her dead fiancé, Grady. Problem is, Grady was a secret agent, and his coded emails have infuriated both his employers and his enemies. They need Pamela alive. So, instead of her planned suicide, she is kidnapped by black ops agents, tortured by mobster warlords, hunted by a psychotic killer, and chased by zombies … all necessary evils in order to ultimately walk into the sunset with her true love.

WARNING: Love Lies Bleeding is a darkly comedic, bloody romance about love conquering all, even death. This is NOT a young adult novel. It contains graphic violence, nasty language, and more than a little bit of flesh eating. There are no soft kisses, soulful stares, or moonlit rainstorms.

The novella is approximately 28,000 words, and currently followed by a twelve-chapter excerpt from the novel, After The Virus.

So now it’s time for my review:

I originally LOVED Spirit Binder, so at first, I wasn’t sure how to feel about a spin off series based on the same type of story… But I LOVED IT!! Beth is the adopted daughter is Theo. if you remembered how awesome Theo was, and still is, you’ll be just as exited as me. She has two other adopted brothers and sisters. She thinks she isn’t powerful like her 4 siblings. Boy is she in for a totally crazy ride! 🙂

I really like Beth. At times, I feel sorry for her, then at other times I think she feels to sorry for herself. But she’s learning, not just about herself, but about her past, her family and who she can trust when the bad guy shows up! And boy oh boy, the bad guy will totally throw you for a loop! That was the coolest plot twist EVER!! I had no idea that was coming and my jaw dropped. So high for for unpredictability!! 🙂

The secondary characters are all so interesting. You see some of the old characters from the Spirit Binder series but now you’ve got their kids! At first, I thought I would have sided with her Brother, but now- I’m all about FINN!! Oh man! I’ve got another new book boyfriend 🙂 he’s a little serious but he’s HAWT!! Lol 🙂 plus he’s quite talented 🙂 not that the other characters aren’t, he just stole my heart so I couldn’t help but pay extra close attention to him!! I’m really hoping to see more Finn 🙂

Lets talk about the amazing writing! I haven’t read anyone who writes like Ms Dodge. She is flawless. And her writing is so unique. As well as her story lines. Her stories suck me in, and I can’t put them down. Normally, when I love the original work and a series, a spinoff wouldn’t interest me. But this new story has just enough of the old story with more of the new series to make it beautiful! I’m really in love!

I am not sure I could say enough about this book, or any of the other works by Ms Dodge other than go get her books! NOW!! Please please!! I think we should all be swept off our feet, or butts since I read sitting down, with this epic new journey! A WONDERFUL, AMAZING 5 PAWS from me! 🙂
