Hello Everyone!! I know it has been a while since I’ve posted anything, but goodness, has life been crazy! For all those who inquired, my surgery went great, and I am healing very well! Still on restricted activity, but today I started driving again (it was nice having a chauffer for almost 3 weeks)! umf, however, it sucks driving a lil box car around, since my car is still being fixed from my wreck (which happened on November 20) I’m in a rental!

Now, I have several people I needa thank, cuz they sent me books to read (like I didn’t have 800 piled up to read already HAHAHA) and review while I was recovering! So, Angie at Books 4 Tomorrow, and all the mods of Paranormal & Urban Fantasy Fanatics on Goodreads (Kay I LOVE YOU!! and you are just too cute) & Terri who was my Secret Santa–let me tell you she is an awesome gift giver!! Also, Lavinia Thompson for sending me Spellbound by Fire (which is up next to read), Samantha Combs who sent me Ghostly, Deborah Noel who sent me Tangled Bloodlines, Dominique Eastwick who sent me Shifting Hearts and Blacksmith’s Daughter, Willow Cross who sent me Inheritance, Dawn Gray who sent me Raven, and Courtney Conant who sent me Blood Moon of Winter…. these are all my review books for the next 2 weeks 🙂 hahahaha other than my R2R books of course 🙂 And for the month of March I will be doing release parties for Eliabeth Hawthorne & Ermisenda Alvarez for Blind Sight (but the cool thing is it’s 2 different person’s perspective of the same book-I’m so intrigued by this) (Angie, almost all of these came from your recommendations, so thank you!!) I appologize if I left anyone out! ~bad Maghon!~

Now now, I know there are a ton of books I haven’t read from 2011, that I have seen winning on all my fellow bloggers sites… I will eventually get to those too hahaha, but I just wanted to make sure all the one’s I love get their dues!!

I’m gunna do a crazy give away for the new year!!! I will pick a crap load of books and e-books to give away… It comes in handy to work at a used book store (yes I said used, so some of those books will not be fresh off the shelf) but I figure you will forgive me, since I’m gunna pocket the e-book & shipping costs 🙂 some have only been touched by me, so they are technically fresh off the shelf!!! actually, I should say out of the box, cuz they don’t touch the shelf hahahahaha
I can’t tell you exactly which books they are yet, but I can tell you that they will most probably be from the list above (some will be the whole series, some just one or two of the books)…. So, you gotta wait till January 1, 2012 to see what I’ve decided… now, spread the word to watch for my posts (on twitter–@magluvsya03– or Facebook –Maghon Thomas– since I always spread the word there)… I promise to name it give away or freebies or something like that 😉 so you know… I have 4 followers (HAHAHAHA 4 YAY!!!), so they will get the e-mails!

Hello everyone, we are getting close to Christmas, and I love holiday season !! 🙂 I am sorry it’s been 10 days since I have posted anything. I had surgery last Monday (no worries, I had a surgery I WANTED, not anything crazy) and I am healing at a good rate, but still have a few more days of resting before I can get all crazy again! LOL! And, now, on with the show!!

First, I AM SO EXCITED!!! because Underworld Awakening is coming out in the movies!!! If you know me, I am a TOTAL FANATIC with this movie franchise!!! So, here’s the new trailer teaser for you to see what I mean!!

First, I am so FURIOUS that the government is making it legal (AGAIN) to kill my favorite animal: THE WOLF!!! Second…. Horse Slaughter in the US AGAIN!!! I know some people are not animal people, but this is just unacceptable!

On some fun notes, I have been signing up in places to review books & boy have I got a great response… Enough that I am now actually telling some reviews NO… how crazy, right?!  But, the cool thing ( and the reason I am tell you this) Is, after the new year, some of these books will be releasing, or I’ll have reviewed them, and some of the authors are offering to do interviews, and even give aways (YAY, MORE FREEBIES!!) and that is always good for the readers!!! And, also, I am gunna be a part of a book blog tour we are calling BOOKBULLY, where I will be giving several (YES SEVERAL) books away, both hard copies and e-books! I am really excited for this one!!! 

Last… I am chatting with this awesome blogger on Twitter and I am doing a top ten list of 2011 books for her… so I am thinking for my next blog post, that will be my main discussion… besties 🙂 I’m gunna think of something fun  to do it!  Maybe even a give away for it!! Surprises Are So Much Fun!!

So, yesterday, I was stalking (don’t judge) some of my favorite authors, ya know, just checking up on them! HA! Ms. Roxanne, sometimes Roxy, Kade, who wrote Therian: Bloody Crescent Book 1, has a blog, and whadda ya know-she gave me a shout out– AND I MISSED IT!!! I know, that is just so unnacceptable! So, now I am making sure to post a thank you to her everywhere!! Cuz that is just the COOLEST thing EVER AND EVER!!! And thank you Amberlyn for answering my question Ms. Kade asked for me! It was a good one I needed the answer to (& I AGREE WHOLE-HEARTEDLY with you).  I really liked this book, so I think everyone should check it out (I’ll post links, promise). Now… Let me say that I REALLY liked this book, because it’s not the happy fairy tale, peachy type of book. This is very hard for Channie in her life… I REALLY DO NOT WANT HER PARENTS!! But, it’s a great story, with great characters, and fun moments 🙂 and I can’t wait to keep on reading 🙂 So, since I read it a while back (before I started my blog) I wanted to-first, spread the word to read this one! Second, I got an e-mail today saying I GET TO BE A BETA READER for the second book!!!! YAAAAAYYYYYY!!!! ok, so I’m reaaaaalllly excited hahaha…. Now, this very cool author, she liked my review so much that she very awesomely signed a paper back copy and sent it to me (HOW AWESOME, you just can’t get cooler HA!) Now, for all my slideshow photos captions: pictures 1-5 are the books in the post, #6 is a pretty fire we had the other night (since it’s been cold for South Louisiana), #7 is my cat, Sushi, who decided to wake me up, just like that, snuggling and all sweet. #8 is my step-niece (she is my favorite kid in the world, and she loves me and thinks I’m cool HA!), Aubrey!! I just wanna put her in my pocket, she was singing to me! #9 is my Husky Mysha (she goes by MiMi, now lol) #10 is Xander (he’s a little brown mutt, show is the BEST BEST dog EVER and EVER) #11 is my Australian Shepherd Baylee (she is sweet, but needy, and as a rescue, has some serious anxiety issues) but I love her… #12 is on my birthday, I didn’t have candles for my birthday cake, so Aubrey lit toothpicks for us to blow out!! And then she high fives me, cuz sprinkle cake is AWESOME!!! 🙂 in her lil saints jersey (WHO DAT)!! #13 is Aubrey with her 8 million Hello Kitty birthday gifts (I mean, shirt, pants, kareoke microphone, mp3 player, luggage), this kid is serious with Hello Kitty), #14 is my mom’s REALLY FAT Pom, but he’s a cool kid (when he isn’t misbehaving) #15 FIND THE CAT??? this one is Beau, he’s our clinic cat (he’s psycho but so entertaining!!) and last but not least #16 is a picture of me and my twins (my mother’s sister’s kids)… they are my little brothers, and they have graduated from high school (in August) *sigh* they grow so fast!! 🙂

Hello all my happy friends!!! so, I am totally gunna talk about this book (which the author so lovingly gave to me to read for reviews and spreading the words around), which is  http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12974693-angel-evolution. Now, I am not too much into the angels these days (it seems like everyone wants to do angels and vampires)–you know, gimme a good shirft or were-something anyday! And normall, I am also more into Fantasy or Urban Fantasy genres. HOWEVER, I think everyone should take a look at this one, because it’s a easy, breezey read, it has secrets, and plot twists, and hidden love, and BIG BAD ANGELS hehehehe and of course some demons too! But, you never know who the “real” bad guy is, and who’s really got Taylor’s best interest at heart.  So, now that I’ve said these things…. go click on some links, since all 3 books of the trilogy are out on Smashwords.

Thirdly, www.netgalley.com is this cool place where you can read and review books & some are even ARC’s…. you should check it out 😉 I did and I’m totally pumped about this one… The authors use your stuff for reviews :)…. so now, that I got all this out, GO LOOK AT ALL MY STUFF!!! oh and I finally broke down and got a twitter account so I can keep up with my blogger peeps and authors 🙂 and I love to rant sometimes too, and facebook gots all my bad stuff, so I am gunna share that wealth with my new twitter peeps 🙂
