I’m back and I’m WAY behind :) & LIEBSTER BLOG AWARD

Oh boy, I’m back from the mountains (& I can breathe again) & I took almost 1000 pictures in 4 days (I know I am a total nut) However, today, I will post my books reviews, for the small amount of books I read in this last week, and since I am way behind, I have lots to catch up on.  I will do an entire blog on my trip and all my pictures (but yes, I will post a few photos so you can get a sneak peek into the best trip of my life!) 

First, I want to remind everyone not to forget that both the book bully blog started this week, I should be tomorrow or Friday, but just click the pretty link picture on the left side of my blog to get there & it also has everyone else’s options to win their books! & the Half-Black Soul Tour began with my lovely friend Kay, over at Kay Books and if you click the link you get to see all that awesomeness!! That is one of the books I am reading right now, since I’m next week on the blog tour and I gotta get my questions ASAP!!! Who knew that you don’t read on vacation?? Right? ok, well me, since I didn’t have time or just needed the sleep 🙂  

Now, on to my book reviews… so here we go!!! 

I received Spellbound by Fire via the author for a review so we could spread the word about her new book… I read the inscription twice before I agreed, because I didn’t know how I would handle the torture and tragedy, but boy am I sure glad I read this one… Yes, there are some slightly graphic torture scenes, but you know what, it should make you aware that people really do go through abuse every day! I’ve seen it first hand in the women in my family (it’s also why my mother tells me all the time to filter and hold back, I am brutally honest and do not want to be walked on by others). I think not only is this a great story~add a little supernatural power to a very real life story and Wah-La~ you get a good feeling when the good guys can over come! I cannot say the good guys win, because a lot of them have lost so much in this story, but it’s hard to bring down a survivor and that’s what Janey is! Also, I do not know how, but this author makes you feel like you are right there in that story to feel all the pain, and sadness, and happiness, and love, and hate! She just has a way with words I guess 🙂 So, thank you very much Ms. Thompson, and please continue to write, I cannot wait to get my hands on Spellbound by Swords! I hope it’s gunna be out soon 🙂 but no rush…
